Uniform Distribution is a distribution in which all the outcomes have an equal probability of occurring. Let's understand this in detail through an example
Example 2.2. Consider a fair die for which we have to find the Uniform Distribution.
Let's start by finding the probability of rolling every possible outcome (i.e., numbers 1,2,3,4,5 and 6)

Thus, we can see that for a uniform distribution (Fig 2.1), the distribution is discrete as there are only six set possible outcomes, uniform as all the probabilities are equal and the sum of all the probabilities is 1.
